These Terms of Service apply to your use of the Concealed Theory website and your purchase of products from us.

By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. About Us

Concealed Theory operates as an online store and sells jewellery and related products to customers in Australia and other locations where we offer shipping.

2. Products

We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, colours, measurements and other information on our website are accurate.

However, colours may appear slightly different depending on your device or screen settings. Small variations may also occur between individual products.

We reserve the right to correct errors, inaccuracies or omissions and to update product information when necessary.

3. Prices

All prices displayed on our website are in Australian dollars (AUD) unless otherwise stated.

Prices are subject to change without notice. Any price change will not affect an order that has already been accepted and paid for.

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that prices are displayed correctly. If an obvious pricing error occurs, we may contact you before processing the order to confirm whether you would like to proceed at the correct price.

4. Orders and Payment

By placing an order, you are making an offer to purchase the products selected at the price displayed at the time of purchase.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order in reasonable circumstances, including where a product is unavailable, there is an obvious pricing or product description error, or we reasonably suspect fraudulent activity.

Payment must be successfully received before an order is processed and dispatched.

5. Shipping

We aim to process and dispatch orders within 1–3 business days.

Delivery times depend on the shipping method and destination selected at checkout. Delivery estimates are not guaranteed and may be affected by postal delays or circumstances outside our control.

6. Returns, Exchanges and Change of Mind

We offer change-of-mind returns within 14 days of receiving your order, subject to the conditions set out in our Returns, Exchanges & Warranty Policy.

Items must generally be unworn, unused and returned in their original condition and packaging.

For hygiene reasons, earrings and jewellery intended for pierced areas cannot be returned or exchanged for change-of-mind reasons once the packaging has been opened or the item has been worn.

Custom-made or personalised jewellery is also not eligible for change-of-mind returns.

These conditions do not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

7. Faulty Products and Australian Consumer Law

Our products come with consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) that cannot be excluded.

If a product is faulty, defective, unsafe, does not match its description, or otherwise fails to meet the applicable consumer guarantees, please contact us at enquires@concealedtheory.com.au.

We may ask you to provide photographs, videos or other information about the issue and may require the product to be returned for assessment.

Depending on the nature and seriousness of the problem, an appropriate remedy may include a repair, replacement or refund.

Nothing in these Terms of Service is intended to exclude, restrict or modify your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

8. Manufacturing Warranty

Our jewellery is covered by a 6-month warranty against manufacturing defects, subject to the terms of our warranty.

The warranty does not cover damage resulting from accidents, misuse, improper care, alterations or normal wear and tear.

This warranty is additional to, and does not replace or limit, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

9. Jewellery Care

Jewellery should be cared for appropriately according to the care instructions provided with your purchase.

Exposure to water, chemicals, perfumes, lotions, cosmetics, sweat and other substances may affect the appearance or condition of jewellery.

Normal wear and tear is not considered a manufacturing defect.

Please follow our jewellery care recommendations to help maintain your jewellery.

10. Website Use

You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and not to misuse, interfere with or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our website or systems.

You must not use our website to engage in fraudulent, abusive or unlawful activity.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on the Concealed Theory website, including photographs, product images, logos, branding, designs, text, graphics and other materials, is owned by or licensed to Concealed Theory unless otherwise stated.

You may not reproduce, copy, modify, distribute or use our content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

12. Third-Party Services

Our website may use third-party services such as payment providers, shipping providers, analytics services and other Shopify-supported services.

These services may have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the policies or operation of third-party services outside our reasonable control.
